Found this beauty in Humphreys, Missouri.
The front is covered with tin ceiling tiles – at least I’ve seen them on ceilings.
And a fine wood door.

This is so interesting! I always wonder about abandoned buildings, barns, houses. Why were they abandoned? I am also interested enough that I’d like to look around inside.
I like to have someone with me when I peek inside. And sometimes in the little towns I feel very visible!
That would be smart…to have someone with you. I went by an abandoned building today, and I thought of you! I should have stopped to explore…but I was alone. I could see the side doorway, clearly missing the door.
I always think about how much work went into building those old buildings and how proud someone must have been when their building was finished.
It’s a beautiful building – so much work!
Wow! A free spirit must have thought this one up. 🙂
I’m wondering if it is a recycling project. What will we do with all these old tiles?
