When there is “nothing doing” I “make do.” – Some of the phrases we grew up with and use and never think about surely must seem strange to the foreigner?
I like the way he wrote “Nothing doing” so boldly. It may have been a boring day, but it looks like he felt proud that he recorded something (even if it was next to nothing) about it.
