Crocheted Flowers

In an isolated desert community it’s rare to have fresh flowers for a grave.  And spending precious cash on artificial flowers isn’t wise.  So the women here put wonderful effort into crocheting flowers for the tombstones. Baja California Sur, Mexico.

El Alamo Cemetery

El Alamo is a old, mostly abandoned mining town southeast of Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico.  The cemetery had graves marked in Spanish and some in Chinese.
