I’ve been on this earth for a while, but I’m still finding my voice, listening to myself. This blog gives me a chance to present my authentic self. Honesty is important, and honesty with myself the most important to me. Photography allows me to share my world, so each blog will have photos. I’ll never talk about f-stops or any technical information, just content. Some of the images are quite good I think, others are just snapshots, but all have strong content for me.
I moved to small desert town to be able to semi-retire. It’s less expensive to live here and much quieter, slower-paced life than my native California. I can hear myself here easier than in the noise and speed of the golden state. I can remember the important things easier and live a truer life. I could handle the city in my youth, but I no longer have the ability or desire to juggle all that input.
In travel or everyday life, I like the back roads – slower, quieter, more subtle. And on a trip I want a new route. New roads – new perspectives. It’s a good life.
