    This begs for more information. How did you identify it as a sanitarium? Why is it in this unusual location? That back door exit looks like it would terminate your residency.

    • The brochure and signs told me it was a sanitarium. Built in the late 1800s – not much population in the area. But dry and with a source of water. There was also a hotel nearby. New Mexico was a popular place for tuberculosis patients to come.
