Miniature Pronghorn on Fence

No. No. No.  That is NOT what this is.  But an astute Instagram follower right away saw this.  How did I manage to get the pronghorn on the fence?

It was supposed to be a post about how pronghorns cannot jump over fences.  They crawl under, often injuring themselves.  Enlightened ranchers add a length of PVC to the lower strand of wire every once in a while allowing the animals to get under without injury.  The rancher watches for the places where the pronghorn usually cross, and puts the PVC there.  Nice.

Astute Instagram follower here. 🙂 What a kind thing that is some ranchers do for the pronghorns. Now if we could all just treat fellow humans other such kindness and understanding.

It’s so perfectly poised, a tiny tight-rope walker.
