Always Backroads 
I love the picture. Are those ground squirrels? We have lots of them here and while I haven’t seen them in trees, they do climb fence posts and sit there and cheep to let the rest of the squirrels on the ground know that all is well.
Yes, ground squirrels (or rock squirrels) masquerading as monkeys! I took, oh, so many photos. I’ll have another one from this series next Friday – a bit photoshopped.
Such an unusual squirrel assembly. Great picture!
