Tree and Rusty Roof

I have neglected this blog for several months. I just lost interest in making more photographs – probably the result of trying to sort and organize thousands of photos in my files. Why make more when I hadn’t worked with what photos were there?

So now I’m going through them asking myself why did I take this? What caught my eye? Surprisingly there are lots of photos that I now want to work with. Not many are great art, but that wasn’t why I started this blog.

These are things that got my attention, that made me smile, or amazed me. And that’s what I want to share – how I see the world. I expect to post photos 3 or 4 times a week. Thanks for checking them out. I love to hear your comments.

Glad to see you back – I’ve missed your perspectives.
I’m intrigued: how did you achieve that effect?

So glad to see your photos again. It’s hard to explain, but I have a physical response to many of your photos. Sometimes it’s a tingling in my brain, sometimes it’s tears in my eyes, sometimes it’s the same feeling as something yummy in my mouth, sometimes just a fullness in my heart. Thank you for these visions/sensations.

I like nature and funky man made items in tandem
    Tree and rusted tin roof
    Which will last longer
