Shoreline

Elephant Butte Lake is down from former levels and leaves interesting patterns.  On shore there is a blue heron too.

    This is a beautiful composition.

  2. Isn’t that the reservoir upstream from T or C? If it is that low, does it mean they’re letting water out of it?

    • Yes, that’s the one. They let water out for most of the summer, but now the river is ‘turned off’ – just a muddy stream. I think the plan is to keep more water in the northern reservoirs because evaporation loss would be less.

Great picture, and I found the heron.

I like the inter-leaving of the shoreline, Donna.
