Plain Stick Insect

stick 1This is the plainest, flattest stick insect I have seen.  Maybe that makes it the most evolved since it looks more like a stick than the others.

    Very cool! I saw one of those in Costa Rica, didn’t realize they were up here too.

    Our NEPA Walking Sticks have 3 pairs if legs, not two, and a larger segmented boy with antenna’s and a real small but noticeable head end.
