I love the idea of a sampler, so apt for this wall. I also like your images and the textures you find.
I never thought about these oft-repaired walls as looking like a needlepoint sampler, but it is a perfect description!
super cool.
This building has a lot of stories to tell. I love the analogy with a needlepoint sampler.
Love the bricked up openings, holding captive the spirits of the building. Do you have any shots of old railroad cars? I love their angles, proportions, surfaces in all kinds of light and the stories they could tell about the places they have traveled.
I haven’t done many trains – wouldn’t it be fun to see where each car had been!
