Salt Cedar Fence

Salt Cedar (or Tamarisk) is an invasive plant.  We aren’t suppose to like it, but it has attractive red limbs – makes a pretty fence.

Very nice fence. I’ve never heard of the species before. Too bad its invasive but at least it can still be put to good use.

This is a new one for me too. Looks like it’s perfectly suited to making wattle fencing and the color is really good for contrast to plants. Sometimes it’s hard not to like a plant even though you know it may turn into a “thug”.
