An old ranch fence still standing on White Sands Missile Range near the Trinity Site.
Linking to Friday Fences.
That is quite a ramshackle old fence. I don’t think it would hold any of my animals. 🙂
oh, i REALLY REALLY like this!
This is one of the best fences I have seen in ages. It is awesome! Love the rustic odd and ends appearance. What a great find. genie
Nice contrast against the solid mountainous horizon. Also love how the plant life shadows the past life of the branches which are now “living” out there final days (maybe hours) as useful things.
very nice moment. thanks.
So much to admire about this photo-the composition, the color tones, great intensity in the foreground against hazy horizon. And let’s not neglect this great old rundown fence. Well done!
This is a great shot…totaly agree with Faye
Love this picture! My mother in law would ask, “where are the 3 headed sheep?” Whenever we get sick she blames the Trinity site sice we live about an hour from there.
That’s funny. The first time I went to Trinity I saw the Oryx signs. Oryx in New Mexico??? I thought it might be because of Trinity, but then I found they are all over this area.
Gorgeous photo. Thanks for sharing your blog!
I agree with all of the comments! Great shot!
