Inca doves are one of my favorite birds. They are tiny (compare to the white-wing dove at the upper right corner) and have intricate scallop marks on their wings. We don’t see them very often. At best I can hope to see one pair a few times a year. Yesterday, there were 8 Inca doves in the yard (there are ‘only’ six in this shot). Major bird day here!
