Fork In the Road : Celebrating Two Years

fork in road

This is the 2nd anniversary of my blog, AlwaysBackroads.  I had little idea what this experience could be – it’s so much more than I expected.  Not only have I stuck with it for two years, but I love writing the posts.  And I am thrilled to be part of several blogging communities online.

To celebrate I’m going to split this blog into two.  It’s always felt as if it was headed in two directions: photography and genealogy, so I’m accentuating that.  AlwaysBackroads will continue here, featuring my photography.  I’ll put the upcoming family stories, genealogy, and my grandfather’s diaries on www.ThisILeave.wordpress.com.   I hope you will join me there.

And I thank you for making this such a fun and satisfying adventure!  Happy New Year!

Congratulations, and good idea. And…that is why I began several blogs, so that I could write about different subjects. Some are not interested in all my blogs, but I hope that some will enjoy them.
