Striped Whipsnake

Thanks to Nancy’s alertness we saw this striped whipsnake on Tuesday near Ash Canyon.  It’s very thin and about 24 inches long.  And very fast.  After it posed for a few minutes, it took off.  Quite a treat to see.

I’m starting to post wildlife photos on Project Noah.
Project Noah is a great resource for teachers and students, as well as a showcase for nature photographs.
You can see what I’ve posted on my page.
