Sand Dunes and Fences

I risked a ticket on I-8 to get this shot, but had to have it for Friday Fences!  The folks in charge of the highways try to fence the roads, but at the Imperial Dunes in the southeast corner of California, shifting sand has covered most of the fence.  I could see the fence away from this area and it’s about 5 feet high with 5 strands of wire, but only future archeologists will know that here.

That is so funny! At least you don’t have to dig it out… Can you imagine the work that would be?
