Funny how sometimes words aren’t necessary. These are really nice captures!
was that a posted sign or ? great shots. ( :
Looks like it caught a few BBs.
I like the very substantial post – a nice find!!
Yes, the sign seems to mean keep out, no trespassing, look but keep going. Although all that barbed wire is a little foreboding anyway.
Looks like someone has been using the sign for target practice.
Not very inviting, is it?
Great pieces of fences. I like the old one on the first picture most. Inflexible in time. Makes definitely an impression.
A fearsome looking fence. No way I would try to breach that one.
barbed wire is a ‘keep out’ in itself… I sure wouldn’t want to tangle with it.
So rustic…n sturdy too! Nice shot
Something tells me the fencer intended to get back and paint “keep out” but never did. But, as you say, not necessary–message sent and received. Love fence stories!
A mystery message!!
It would be great if you could take part in my Fences Project (bzebza dot net)
Thanks, I’ll give it a try!
