Lovely pics Donna. White sands is a place I have never been but high on my list of places to visit.
Love the photos! It’s hard to believe that anything can grow in such condidtions.
especially love that first one…striking contrast with that blue, blue sky.
White Sands is my favorite place to visit whenever I get out west. Years ago I happened upon it and have been hooked ever since. Once when I was there I got to talking to some people from Texas and when they found out that I was from Michigan they said that Michigan had much better sand dunes then White Sands. I guess I never really thought about it that way the Michigan shore line was just there and we went up and down those hills never really thinking them as sand dunes. I guess the grass is always greener or in this case the sand is always whiter.
Beautiful pictures, thank you.
And thanks for visiting my blog.
Take Care.

I miss going there. The last time I went to White Sands was when my twins were toddlers. They’re twenty now. Maybe we should take a family vacation down that way so they can see the area around where they were born.
Don’t forget a stop in Truth or Consequences! Hot springs and galleries.
