Heading south from Colorado to Taos, New Mexico, on Highway 522, we saw a flash of gold off in the junipers. Had to go find it! “It” turns out to be the Kagyu Mila Guru Stupa in this beautiful quiet setting. We wandered around for a while, no one else was there.
Lots of prayer flags. I liked the sunlight behind the longer ones. And the scrap of cloth taken by the wind into the soil.

Gee, what an interesting place to come across..one reason I love road trips.
